eBayサーベイフィッシング

「eBay $20 reward survey」や「eBay - Don't miss this chance」と題されたフィッシングメールの内容は、オンラインサービス向上のためのサーベイに協力するだけで20ドルを受け取れるといったもの。

メール中のリンクをクリックすると偽サイト（www.reward-survey.com）に接続する。一応次のような質問項目がある。いきなりカード番号を要求しないところは手が込んでいる。

A. Yes - It's faster / Yes - It's slower / No - It's the same
Q. Where do you shop for comics & related items?
A. Local retail shop / Tradeshows / eBay.com / Specialty websites

A. Very Satisfied / Moderately Satisfied / Not Satisfied / Greatly Unsatisfied

画面下部の[Continue]をボタンを押すとユーザIDとクレジットカード情報の入力画面に移動する。

未入力のまま[Continue]ボタンを押すと「Please provide your Card Number」という警告がでる。スクリプトをのぞいてみたところ、警告メッセージは「Please provide your Card Number.」と「Card Number is not valid.」の二種類。カード番号しかチェックしていない。ユーザIDなんかどうでもいいからカード番号を入力しろということのようだ。
